Looks like this will chart here in Canada.
It would actually chart in most of those countries with the old rules that didn't include streaming.

Apparently Giorgio wants this as a single.

Oh then she may be ahead of Xtina, I have no idea how much "Donde Están Los Ladrones" sold in the 2000s though and I'll look for her live albums.

Will be interesting to see how the Top 10 moves through the years, but I think the Top 3 will remain the same anyway. Hopefully.

^ Shakira's "Donde están los ladrones" also moved copies in the 2000 year and you didn't include her live albums. Rihanna may be at 32m she'll definately climb positions with her next album.

    Good top 3 anyway

Found this on another forum. How true is this? I know Britney is #1 but what about the rest?
That's my list. I posted this on Exhale but I made a mistake, Adele is definitely ahead of Xtina (32 million) and Ayumi (33 million)

I don't think Shakira is ahead of Xtina though:

    'Christina Aguilera' (1999) 9 million (excluding 1999)
    'Mi Reflejo' (2000) 2 million
'My Kind Of Christmas' (2000) 1,5 million
    'Stripped' (2002) 11 million
'Back To Basics' (2006) 4,5 million
'Keeps Gettin' Better: A Decade Of Hits' (2008) 1,5 million
    'Bionic' (2010) 850.000
    'Burlesque Soundtrack' (2010) 1,4 million
    'Lotus' (2012) 550.000

    = 32.3 million

    'MTV Unplugged' (2000) 1,0 million
    'Laundry Service' (2001) 13,0 million
    'Grandes Éxitos' (2002) 1,0 million
    'Fijación Oral, Vol.1' (2005) 4,0 million
    'Oral Fixation Vol.2' (2005) 5,0 million
    'She Wolf' (2009) 1,8 million
'Sale El Sol' (2010) 2,3 million
    'Shakira' (2014) 0,9 million

    = 29 million

    As for the others:

    Adele: 34 million
    Beyonce: 30.9 million
    Rihanna: 30 million
    Lady Gaga: 27 million

Also according to Mediatraffic, Britney has sold 64 million albums since 2000 (including 8 million from BOMT), so she's definitely #1.

    1. Britney Spears
    2. Celine Dion
    3. Madonna
    4. Norah Jones
    5. P!nk
    6. Taylor Swift
    7. Alicia Keys
    8. Avril Lavigne
    9. Adele
    10. Ayumi Hamasaki

Perfect Top 3. Adele will go up like 5 spots with her next album.

In terms of album sales, I wouldn't be so sure that Madonna is #2.

Céline has sold around 55m albums since the 00s - which is a similar amount to Madonna I think.

    1. Britney Spears - 60m
    2. Celine Dion - 55m
    3. Madonna - 55m

That list is obviously just album sales.

The list is based on what?, Album sales or Record sales?. Beyonce, Shakira, Lady Gaga, Rihanna, Adele, etc have sold more albums than Xtina in the 21st Century (since 2000).

    And Madonna is definately #2.

Already at #94 in UK, increase the advantage (50/60 places +) to Deja Vu (the single).

Swear I replied to this, UKMix has been glitchy lately

I think it's to do with her contract, she can't film a video due to it so maybe it restricts her availability as a feature like when SMS (Bangerz) was supposed to be released but it wasn't

Hey I love Britney! Thanks for this.

Btw, who are her contemporaries? I can only remember one.

Do we have chart sales in the Philippines (small market, but a market nevertheless

They are lower than I thought.

Mariah seems to sell upwards of 100k per year in the UK, the vast majority being from All I Want For Christmas Is You; Céline seems to sell around 200k songs per year [with around 50k coming from My Heart Will Go On].

I thought Britney would be somewhere in the middle. I actually think she's probably sold less than 100k per year the last couple of years - she probably sold the bulk a few years back.

Tom's Diner is about to become the highest charting song from the album and the Sia song was actually a single

I imagine catalogue sales are hard when you've sold so many copies in the first place

Anyway the quality of the category sales doesn't matter we should just deal with facts it's not like it's a big part of her sales or legacy

Great position for Tom's Diner in the UK!
