Any info on Australia? With around 1.5 million albums sold and 4.5 million records, she might be among the Top 10 females.

She's definitely Top 10 in Canada (both albums and records wise)

I love this thread  So much I didn't know about Britney but about other females as well.

I'd be really interested in some all-time Germany positions if anyone has some. Britney would probably rank higher than some might expect.

And I was also pretty certain Celine was #2 in Japan, but I think she and Madonna are pretty close anyway.

I think Celine could possibly be #2? I'm not completely sure about those two.

She's a huge force in South Korea as well. She must be the biggest Western female after Mariah in terms of albums

    ...Baby One More Time: 150,000
Oops!... I Did It Again: 350,000
    Britney: 350,000
    In The Zone: 150,000
    Greatest Hits: My Prerogative: 100,000
    B In The Mix: 5,000
    Blackout: 10,000
    Circus: 25,000
    Femme Fatale: 5,000

"OIDIA" and "Britney" are among the best selling female albums of all time.

    Hardly the case.

If you're going to make a claim [such as Britney is ___ selling female artist] then expect challenge.

Looks like I Wanna Go might be her first ( :( ) video to hit 200 million views!

Though WB is catching up fast (168,579,132 views) so it will be one of the two.

Pretty Girls will probably 2nd or 3rd depending on how fast she catches up

What about Germany?, I did some research last year or maybe a couple of years back, and she's also one of the 10 most successful foreign female acts of all time there based on records sales (Albums + singles).
That's great. I definitely think she's among the Top 10 international females with over 8 million records sold. Do you know the album list?

She's also the 23th best selling female artist of all time in France (5th biggest American act)

    1. Michael Jackson
    2. Madonna
    3. Elvis Presley
    4. Mariah Carey
    5. Britney Spears
    Interesting. Thanks.

Well Britney has sold close to 3m albums in Germany, her only direct peer that is above her is P!nk. In France she's definately the lead among her main peers.

I didn't even know he checks this thread. If he can prove her "superiority" in Germany, US, France and Japan as well I'll give him credit.

Wow, you should email the BPI/OCC then, to let them know that their tracking system has some issue!

She sold almost that in 2014 alone. True, Katy's really lucky to have debuted in 2008.

And yes, top 10 is still a great result.
