The album was #86 on the year-end chart.

And it was certified Gold in week one.

I'm also not sold on 50k. However, it's like 15k difference - barely dents the total worldwide.

Top 50 is what matters, sales are under 1000 outside top 20. You do the math.

Album is probably overshipped too, like Mdna.

No problem! The singles are not updated, unfortunately. I believe many of them will be higher now... There's no way to get updated certifications unless they re-enter the ARIA charts OR through press releases. I wish we would get our own BPI...

"The Singles Collection" might be Gold already, I always see it in stores along with "Circus" and "Greatest Hits: My Prerogative". "Britney Jean" flopped terribly.

    As for singles...

    6x P "Scream & Shout (w/ will.i.am)"
3x P: "...Baby One More Time"
2x P "Till the World Ends"
1x P "Sometimes", "(You Drive Me) Crazy", "Oops!... I Did It Again", "Lucky", "Me Against the Music", "Toxic", "Piece Of Me", "Womanizer", "Circus", "3", "Hold It Against Me"
1x G "Stronger", "I'm a Slave 4 U", "Overprotected", "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman", "I Love Rock n' Roll", "Boys", "Everytime", "My Prerogative", "Do Somethin'", "Gimme More", "If U Seek Amy", "I Wanna Go", "Work Bitch"
I knew her earliest albums were undercertified.

Mariah sold less than singlest than Celine in uk
    2012:

08 CELINE DION 6.7m MY HEART WILL GO ON
09 MARIAH CAREY 6.62m ALL I WANT FOR XMAS IS YOU
The difference was roughly 80k but since then Mariah has released #Beautiful which went Silver (200k) and don't forget All I Want For Christmas Is You charted in 2012, 2013, 2014 and will chart again. I know My Heart Will Go On is a good catalog seller too but I don't think Celine had a song as big as #Beautiful. I could be wrong tho.
