Personally I really hope they don't waste an opportunity and it does in fact come out on that night as her streaming will be good if nothing else lol

Her YouTube/vevo views should increase nicely with younger generations looking into her afterward.

I don't think so. Billboard Awards are not as big as the Grammys. Her compilations would probably go back to top 200 but thats it (unless they discount them which would make them chart very high), IMO the performance will generate more buzz towards her upcoming new era rather than her past catalogue.
The added combo of Britney opening the show, plus Madonna tributing Prince, Celine, Rihanna, and P!nk performing should bring higher ratings than usual.

Can't wait to see Forbes' report of her TOTAL earnings last year, as Billboard is just reporting on her music income.

^ Cool, according to the list, Britney was the 5th top female musician earner of the 2015 year.

    Females

    1. Taylor Swift (#1) - $73,5m
    2. Adele (#9) - $20,5m
    3. Shania Twain (#12) - $14,4m
    4. Madonna (#14) - $12,7m
    5. Britney Spears (#22) - $10,6m

Top 5 is pretty decent for someone who didn't release an album or new era in 2015. Her earnings were not much different than those of Madonna who release a studio album and toured in 2015. Also surprised that many other newer females such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, or Katy Perry are bellow Britney. I mean its not like Britney did that much in 2015.

Billboard's Top Money Makers Of 2015:

Vegas has been good for Spears. For an act without an album, she sold a respectable 923,000 digital tracks, generated 350 million streams and earned her songs $500,000-plus in publishing royalties. She reaped only $31,000 of that though, because she uses outside songwriters.

RCA is probably the worst label when it comes to certifications. Even Epic is better at it. They should at least certify Work Bitch, Pretty Girls, Perfume (if eligible), and Britney Jean.

Here are my estimations of what her single certifications should look like. For every song, I'm assuming 35% of its streams come from the United States (this is based off what Billboard reported about Work Bitch's streams back in 2013). Only VEVO and Spotify are being counted so this is not the end of it. Many could be higher.

RCA is probably to cheap to spend any money on that.

^ Cool. As I posted on the other thread. I estimate the show is breaking the $90m mark around September and could hit the $100m gross in either December or January.

They should discount GH:MP after her performance. it'd do wonders. I know the BBMAs aren't that big but it re-entered the top 30 on iTunes earlier this year without a word from Britney.

"Greatest hits: My Prerogative" is her top catalog selling album in the US. If any album has an effect that one will have the biggest.

However, I think some fans are overestimating the power of the BBMA, I mean the effect won't be that big as some think, its not Superbowl. The performance will have a better effect mostly on her new single (if its included on the medley) and its just a promotional tool for both, her image and her upcoming era, thats all, Don't expect all of her past songs and albums rising the charts or anything.

I'm excited to see the effect the segment has on her back catalogue. I hope to god she does not include Pretty Girls. Baby, Slave, Toxic, Piece of Me, Womanizer, Till the World Ends, Work Bitch seem the most obvious to include.

The Singles Collection will doubt shoot up iTunes though I hope the Playlist album doesnt.
