          • Btw .. Toxic’s auto-generated audio on Youtube already has 95 million plays (one of the most played auto generated audios I’ve seen for old songs).

“Toxic” is huge on every platform.
Rock lives forever: Led Zeppelin . Metallica . Pink Floyd . Nirvana . Radiohead . Pearl Jam . Oasis . Iron Maiden . Nine Inch Nails
Approved Popstars: Michael Jackson . Madonna . Britney Spears . Beyoncé . Rihanna

That's massive. I wish Apple Music would make their numbers public. I bet Toxic pulls huge numbers as it's always charting in the Top 1000 in the US.

                    • I guess that most +1 billion female albums from the 2000s decade are late 00s (post-2005 albums) ex: “The Fame”, “Sasha Fierce”, “Good Girl Gone Bad”, “Oral Fixation Vol 2”, “Fearless”, etc , etc

I can’t imagine that many early 00s female albums with +1B other than Avril Lavigne’s “Let Go”, Beyoncé’s “Dangerously In Love”, Britney’s “In The Zone” and who else? Probably Norah Jones’ debut album. If you want to include bands then add Evanescence’s “Fallen” to the list.

Probably, 5.6M was Soundscan update we got recently and it moves 800K+ a year under the same, as RIAA counts free YT streams as well it can be nearing 7x as well.

I’d stick in the middle and say 6x Platinum (under RIAA numbers).

It gains a lot of units per year in US though (like a million every year) so, in just a couple years this will be 8x Platinum eligible and Diamond will become imminent after that.

Diamond in 3-4 years nonetheless, certification still will be crickets
