Toxic is exceeding everyone's expectation - it'll be her first diamond single in years. Hold Me closer platinum by this summer
Going by the current weekly average of 15-20K, Hold Me Closer will hit 1 million within a month. April is the month.

    • Amazing update for the song that wasn’t even released in US and barely streamed, with 200k from the last update, Toxic will surpass the 7 million mark in the end of the year (and without Apple Music and pandora)

No problem and I think it will hit Platinum by the end of April and be certified by the label on May. Do Somethin' needs only 5,000 units (750,000 streams) to surpass gold ✨ï¸

Those 6,7 million units are digital downloads and streams so I think it does include Apple Music streams?

Great to see that Toxic will pass 7 million, Hold Me Closer will go Platinum, and Do Somethin' is so close to Gold

I'm pleasantly surprised to see If U Seek Amy over 2 million too!

                    • Also that’s a total of 70 million single sales in the USA! Talk about under certified or what!

I reckon her total usa units total would be around 120 million when you then combine album sales to that total

How is criminal sales wise? I know it does really well on streaming seems it did nothing when released.

If you look at Britney Spears merchbar bomt vinyl, in its description it says that bomt sold 32 million copies worldwide

                                    • Rolling Stone does not track worldwide sales and more often than not, record sales are mistaken for album sales. We have official figures from her record label which are definitely more accurate.

As of April 2000, ...Baby One More Time had sold 22 million copies worldwide (and 11 million singles).

                                      20 million in 1999 alone:

The 28 million figure definitely was referring to record sales, because even her label used it (and specified records):

30 million pure sales is unrealistic.

In Australia, "In The Zone" Is One Of Only Three Albums To Have All Singles Go To #1

Is this still true as of 2023? Anyone know? Perhaps Choley has the tea. Also, I wonder what the third album is? Innocent Eyes had all of its five singles go #1, In the Zone had all three, but every other album on this list had a couple misses.

                                                    * The record breaking album only had two singles which
both went #1 but a record is a record.
