Are the total sales on the opening page up to date? The UK sales really are poor compared to the last collab album. I’m guessing this will top out at about 30k max!

The UK sales on the 1st page are only from the first two weeks, though. I guess it’ll be around 13-15k by now.
Anyway… they went to UK to promote C2C singing on Strictly Come Dancing and it went “only” Silver there. Back when albums sales were much better in UK. Look at the album sales in UK this year and maybe you’ll reconsider your expectations.

So expecting an album of jazz covers, with no hype, no promo and with pure sales completely dead, with UK albums chart being so influenced by streaming, to have similar sales to C2C is not realistic.
I guess 25k at best in the long run.

Maybe if their CBS special airs in UK it can have a little boost… or if they win/perform at the Grammys.

That's what you said, which doesn't make any sense. Of course this album would never sell the same as CTC, there's no more hype about the weird popstar singing with a jazz crooner who's old enough to be her great-grandfather. Aside from the pure sales (the only metric that albums of this type still sell something) being completely dead for years, there hasn't been any promotion for this album outside of the US, and even then, the album opened with only a 39% drop in sales compared to CTC's opening in the UK, which is something amazing for a market where streaming has taken over the charts.
