Shocked to see this out of the Top 50 already. But if an album does not have a single keeping it afloat that is the way it is these days. Especially for someone like Adele who sells so much in the opening weeks.

I didnt say anything bad about her sales. I was more so explaining as to why an artist such as Adele wont have longevity on the album charts these days, due to the nature of how the chart is compiled and how she sells in the opening weeks.

I don't know how much power she actually has to decide things for herself. Due to post-25 hype and Christmas sales, the album sold quite a bunch of records in the few weeks of late 2021, but then the consumers stopped caring for the album and so did Adele, it seems. It is comparable to the likes of AC/DC or Bruce Springsteen and the recent album by ABBA with the exception that those artists have developed a much greater market focus on Europe.
