I think CIGI could do a lot more than IDW though, if handled right. I know, better not to expect too much, but still. And them adding CIGI to the Mood Booster playlist on Spotify makes me wonder that what's their next move with it.

CIGI sounds more of a summer hit. Well it is summer here lol but not the rest of the world! They can try serving it to radio at the end of February so that it peaks around April or May. I still doubt it’ll do anything for the album besides a 100 to 200k boost.

Yeah. Oh man. This is crazy. But they're saying Beyoncé might not go either... Or Taylor, or Kendrick. I guess that's why they haven't officially announced performers yet, that they're struggling to find enough people to come to the show.

Maybe Adele doesn't wanna risk anything regarding Vegas... But still. She should at least attend. Unless it's some kinda statement against the Grammys in general. Or against stan wars.

I don't see him winning Album of the Year but he should have a good chance for Best Pop Album and one of the two big song categories. I hope that he won't get Best Music Video because, let's be honest, As It Was' music video wasn't all that great...

They are, but all awards shows have been losing their prestige in recent years. And not just in music. Maybe because of all the politics involved. And this seems different because it didn't just list the AOTY nominees like the first ad from some days ago. So maybe there's hope that she goes still.

I miss that feeling from 2012 when you just knew Adele was gonna win no matter what. 21 was so big, and still is. 2017 was more of a nail biter for 25, but Hello you could tell would win. But now it's wide open. It's clear that in the US 30 just hasn't been nearly as hot as 21 or 25. It's done better in the Uk and she swept the Brits again. But the US needs something more commercial again for next time. And I know Grammys shouldn't be just about sales, but ofc popularity matters in any voting.

There are artists starting from the bottom who get their first nomination in a minor category and what is it they feel most excited about? Being in the same room as Adele. Ouch! I think calling her an a-hole is too far, especially when most of the other industry titans are not going either, at least according to HDD, but let's see. I get what you mean though. It was cute to see Olivia Rodrigo and others being excited about getting to meet Adele at the Brits last year. But idk what kinda future these awards shows will have if more and more people boycott them, or just don't go for whatever reason.

And to keep this about chart analysis, I think the impact on album sales and streams would be bigger if Adele went there. And I think she'd be more likely to win something. I can't imagine them giving the big category Grammys to anyone who's not there.

It would be a dream come true for me, probably for everyone passionate about music, to go to the Grammy award show once in my life. To act as if you are bigger than that annual event, especially at a time when you still were a commercial nobody, would be an absolute no go for me characterwise.
