Wow! I mean, these numbers are insane aren't they Not just for Easy On Me, but seeing all the older songs doing so well again as well.
without any meaning, we're just skin and bones
like beautiful robots dancing alone
The album will undoubtedly do 1 mill + in USA and 500+ in UK but no way will she move more than 25. Streaming has ruined pure sales, hopefully with SPS she can do 3 mill in first week WW. I hope her next single is released with the album and gets to be a bigger catchier song than Easy On Me.
The first new music from Adele in six years is off to a strong start. Projections from the first complete day of consumption suggest "Easy on Me" (Columbia) could open with song activity north of 400k. Half of that will come from audio streams, which could reach 40m.

plus there are no bundles, 20 different vinyl, 20 cassettes etc to multiply the sales. I think if she does Taylor and release many versions of 30 she could score similar numbers to 25
Adele's new single racked up 4,000+ plays in 24 hours on 400+ stations across eight different formats, along with 1700 more spins than "Hello" in its first day—good enough for the hottest start at radio for a single in 2021.
Easy on me sold 14.3k digital copies Thursday night in the USA before midnight (5 hours) and was streamed 3 million times during the same time frame, so in 5 hours she sold 34,000 units

Just a tiny correction, it sold 14.6k pure in its first 5 hours in the US.
With all these massive streams, 25 can climb to #3 next week (behind Coldplay and Sam Fender)
That would be massive considering it's still 4 weeks until the release of '30'. Not even '19' or '21' climbed back that high that early ahead of their follow-ups' releases.

Spotify represents a very big chunk of the UK singles market right? I know downloads are *low*, but other platforms like Apple Music aren't really big right? Let's hope with those numbers alone Rumour Has It can finally become a Top 50 hit.

No chance, you are only allowed 3 songs in the UK chart at any time.
