the "into the groove" 2022 remastered remix has now been listed under 2022 instead of 1987 on her Spotify page, hopefully this will now get it added to "new music" playlists on friday. and users personal release radar playlists.

One thing that I don’t quite understand is why they fragmented the release, like it will make a blip in June and then the highest position could be in August also with the 50 remixes on streaming and the fuzz about her birthday week/day.

Im hoping this to pull 15k - 25k units first week in the US, 5k in the UK and maybe 60k - 70k first week globally? It’s more a collector’s item but I’m sure it could pull some numbers, hopefully if it already has 32M streams it could get to 100M.

Also, do we know the first day numbers for ITG?

Actually I think this will count as two separate albums. So the one on June 24 the 16 track is completely separate from the 50 number ones album. It wont chart at all because its just for streaming in June. The 50 track one is all released in August so it wont be stagnated. Idk how well it will sell but hopefully top 25 in the US. We will see how streaming impacts the first week sales.

I believe it may do better than that (especially in August).

The June release if it's only streaming and Digital sales for the 16 track release so it may underperform those numbers.

"Into The Groove" remix early release will help a bit the build up some streams and digital sales (but so far numbers are irrelevant). I'm sure that before the album due date at least another 2 or 3 trakcs will drop to gain streams and sales. If only Warner can add a few of them to some playlists it can have a better first week.

Taking into account that some tracks already have some sales, some streams on Apple Music, Spotify and YouTube It may do even better than we imagine if all is elligible to be converted to chart sales on first week. Some of those tracks have a considerable number of streams already (and iTunes sales) and we don't know exactly from which countries they are (but certainly many are from US and UK). We also don't know how many of the streams were free or paid streams.

Based on what we've seen here the 16 track album already have over 20 million pre global streams in advance from Spotify alone. I'm sure that we must be talking about at least over 200k iTunes sales worldwide (since some remixes were available for over 17 years already like "Hung Up" - in a time iTunes was selling well).

Not sure if all these are accountable for the album on week of release or not but if they are those numbers you said may be even lower than the reality. But don't get your hopes high. If those aren't all eligible the numbers will be quite lower than you expect in June (and possibly higher in August - all depends on the amount of marketing Warner will do for Madonna).

i think you're understanding the way Billboard 200 Chart works wrong, the streams and song sales registered before the album release date do NOT count towards the first week Chart Units. it doesn't matter if it does 0 streams or 100m streams from pre-released songs. only streams from the tracking week count for the debut week sales on the Billboard 200 Chart.

How many streams these songs already have on Spotify is a nice thing to track here as some fans love it and all that… but what counts for charts is what the albums sells and gets streamed THAT week.

A different story is certifications, as in US, Canada and a few other countries pre-release streams count towards the album certification. But, again, in this case, it’s a special one as those songs included on other albums must have not been counted for the parent album they’re included in.

into the groove remix remastered 2022 debuted with 7,579 streams with less than a half day + it was listed as a 1987 release instead of a new one
i expect a slight increase tomorrow and probably the biggest day on Friday.

i however cannot see it doing 200,000 daily that is simply too much. the song is not much different than itg at all which in itself is getting only 60,000 daily.
