Madonna :: The "Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones" Era
So there is a real possibility for her to achieve gold with this release before the year end... depending on how limited the versions are and how much promo will Warner put into it. I mean the 3CD version is not that expensive to pay to have 50 number one songs, right? It may appeal the general public that knows her since the 80's/90's to buy this one.
I don’t understand why they'll release the standard version on streaming two months before the release of all the other versions.
I’m hoping, or rather maybe they are hoping, the track version acts as a form of promo for the physicals that will be released later? Maybe they’re going to use it as some sort of gage on how much it’s streamed to work out how much the 50 track version might be streamed?
It’s odd but there must be method in the madness. The sentimental part of me wonders if it’s the nearest Friday to the date she signed her original record deal back in 1982 - June 1982 sounds about right for a single released in October 1982.
I really hope there won't be an issue -chart-wise that is- with the physical sets called " FEL:50 Number Ones" and the digital outlets having another called "50 Number Ones" and classifying them as separate entries as if they were different albums.

I think it’s okay as long as the 50 song set is classified as a deluxe edition. I think.

At least in UK the Official Charts article calls it a deluxe edition. Hopefully it will happen the same in US (like Celebration 2CDs and 1CD editions).
I think it will depend on an individual basis country per country. The Rhino press release refers to them as two seperate albums a majority of the time only once saying "abridged".
As expected, it's not available for pre order on Amazon BR and much like Madame X won't even be released here. Probably only as an import (like MX) and cost R$800.00 A mess and a shame
