I think the level of public goodwill for Miley is incredibly high. Like folklore, evermore, and the Taylor's Versions set Taylor up for an incredible run with Midnights, Plastic Hearts was critically acclaimed, Miley's vocal and musical abilities were taken seriously, and her broad range of covers and exploration in musical genres have exposed her to new audiences. Miley herself will always be a star and a talking point. RCA also mismanaged her while Columbia know the score.
