She has momentum, the best label in the industry nowadays and an overall profile that caters to both Gen Z and Millenials (plus the gossip-driven nature of the song doesn´t hurt). On top of that, regarding the overall market, January is an inert month. I mean, more than half of the songs in Spotify´s Global Top 20 are 4 months-old songs or even older, including two catalogue songs driven by Tik Tok. People need new stuff.

Agreed. Adding to this that she has spent the last couple of years really solidifying her status as a talented singer with the GP, covers that went viral, collaborations with respected legends (Stevie Nicks, Joan Jett, Billy Idol, Dolly …etc.). So really everything is in her favor at the moment.
