It’s weird that they bothered to stock the orange vinyl on her store at all when it’s now clearly become an “indie exclusive”. It sold out so quickly on her website compared to everything else that it makes me think it must have been very limited quantity on purpose or they suddenly chose to make it indie exclusive to get the record shops on their side.

I think 65-70k is an accurate prediction. Olivia doesn't particularly have a strong fanbase and hasn't done astronomical opening figures so far.

Btw when I said "just sold" I meant that she's done it very recently (this week), not that I thought that was a low figure. If anything I think it's a huge number (specially those 32k pure) coming from her, so hopefully Tension will give us a pleasant surprise with the total units as well.

70k would be huge btw.

10k views in 5 hours so far, nothing major but everything adds up esp in the lower end of the chart for the UK where a few sales make a difference!

Update on the Pop Shop

The event is to celebrate her new album, ‘Tension’, which is set for release on 22nd September. The shop itself, at 55 Regent Street, will be open 22nd-24th September from 10am-6pm.

Stock will include limited edition individually numbered ‘Tension’ vinyl, limited edition signed prints and lithographs, and exclusive ‘Tension’ themed Rosé wine from Kylie’s own brand, as well as limited edition candles, bespoke clothing, merchandise and event memorabilia.

Now even more mad there is no AUS pop up . Would spend so much money. I think it's such a smart move, they know Kylie fans got the dough to splurge on these items.
