    On November 15, 2016, it was announced that Cyrus had inked a record deal with Barry Weiss' record label called RECORDS and signed a management deal with Maverick under Adam Leber. Later that day, she released her debut single, a pop ballad titled, "Make Me (Cry)" featuring UK singer/producer Labrinth. Her second single, "Stay Together" was released April 14, 2017.

    "Make Me (Cry)" is the debut single recorded by American actress and singer Noah Cyrus. It features vocals from English producer, singer, and songwriter labrinath, and was released on November 15, 2016. The song was written by Cyrus and Labrinth, with the production handled by the latter. The song is scheduled to be the lead single off of Cyrus' debut album, entitled NC-17, scheduled to be released in 2017.
