Bradley Cooper Scores First Billboard Hot 100 Hit With Lady Gaga Duet 'Shallow' From 'A Star Is Born'

The ballad launches at No. 28.

Bradley Cooper earns his first entry on the Billboard Hot 100 chart (dated Oct. 13), as “Shallow,” with Lady Gaga, arrives at No. 28.

After the actor made his first Billboard chart visit last week, the song debuts on the Hot 100 following its first full week of tracking. It bows with 8.3 million U.S. streams and 58,000 downloads sold in the week ending Oct. 4, according to Nielsen Music, as it jumps from No. 14 to No. 1 on the Digital Song Sales chart (marking Gaga's sixth leader on the list).

While the track scores Cooper his first Hot 100 entry, Gaga earns her 21st top 40 hit (among 27 total entries).

I’ll Never Love Again is #178 on Spotify UK as well.

The difference with #1 narrowed from 6k yesterday to 4.9k today.
Sadly, I don’t think they’ll catch them by Friday, though. It seems it’ll lose the #1 by 2k or so...

There's always a next week and especially soundtracks may take a few weeks until they eventually reach their peaks on the charts (see 'Frozen' or 'The Greatest Showman').

Anyway, at least “ASIB” is doing better than we all expected. Crossing the 200k mark would be awesome and it looks like longevity is on their side
