Her last single hit #1 on German iTunes. I don't think that's possible now but I would love to see it inside the Top 10.

^ To be fair, "Daughter" had lots of hype through 'Sing meinen Song' which is why it went to #1. I'm happy if "Thank You" reaches the Top10 as well, and i hope she'll get some Spotify support

No, iirc it was #1 from Tuesday evening on, after the ‚Sing meinen Song’ episode aired, so just a half week.

She’s #1 and on the cover of NMF and entered the Spotify charts on #60 - wow, very good! For comparison, Robin Schulz entered at #66. Big editorial Spotify support!

I think the chances for her getting a Top 30 entry in the official charts are pretty high, which would be amazing for a female pop song in 2018!

I’m not surprised she is a bit frontloaded because she obviously has a healthy (gay?) following in Germany still but let’s be real it’s not like SMS made her a huge thing like it was with Sarah Connor, also pop music isn’t a broad mainstream news spectacle anymore. I’m happy with the performance so far and I don’t think she needs a single hit to make the project successful when all is said and done. There are so many German artists that sell 30-40k albums, have some solid streams and are fine.

Everything else is an extra and of course no opportunity should be missed!

Tomorrow the music video will be released, this should give her an extra boost. I guess she has a better chance for a successful album and that is much more important anyway.

So happy this has became some kind of a slowburner there and not ended up as a big flop as expected at first. A #40 peak may look bad for her standards, but 13 weeks on the charts is actually very good for her.

The second single called "Don't Lie To Me" just dropped today.

She is the only german pop star singing in english I can think of with some kind of success atm tbh. German Hip Hop taking over has made it much harder. I hope she has longevity with Don't Lie To Me too, I think she will do fairly well on the album front anyway, Top 3 should be happening she will also be releasing on vinyl and has put effort in limited fan boxes, as far as I can tell from her instagram

Everything about her actually speaks against her at the moment (female, pop singer, sings in English), especially when it comes to the German music market. So she‘s doing very well. And yes, she really put some effort into the album as it seems from her insta, so I‘m excited for that!
