I hope they've learned their lesson and a second single with more oomph comes out next week.

I don't get how anyone is surprised. Its not an amazing song and the video has no replay value.
Love you like a love song!

While this is a nice achievement, I think it makes the song's performance even worse, it's high up the airplay charts nearly everywhere and already topped a few but people still don't care for it

It's currently sitting at #12 in the UK. I wouldn't say that people don't care

I actually think it’s doing rather well, it’s only streaming that’s letting it down, it’s still doing good on iTunes 5 in the USA and 2 in the UK, I think this will have longevity for her, it will increase on streaming too, can still see this getting several certifications around the world; and I’m sure it will crack the top 10 in aus eventually

Well streaming is the most important thing now. I think it's rather disappointing for a new lead single if it's the most played/heared song in a country and is only #12 on the chart. It makes it look like it only connects with a small portion of its listensers. If you think it's doing fine and are satisfied, that's cool too but I think she needs something different.

IMO she'll definitely release a second single prior to the album release and she'll also probably promote a lot during the month of release.

Its shaping up to be a low selling album, the quality of her music has went downhill since Funhouse album. Walk Me Home will be forgotten by end April

It's like she doesn't care anymore, there's no evolution since that album. I think she's a touring artist first and foremost and she just releases music as an excuse. But yeah, this album is going to sell a lot less than her previous eras.
She's a legend at this point, so she can do whatever she wants.

That's very subjective and nothing to do in the chart analysis section of the forum.

It’s only been viewed 6 million in the first 6 days so it’s not catching on, don’t think there will be much effect.
