Any idea about the sales in his 3rd week in the UK?

I didn't expect a 3rd week in the Australian top 10 though - great!
What are you basing this on exactly ? Smile will not be on any chart by week 8 lol ( apart from perhaps Australia)

          • Experience with flop albums in Europe, I guess. In some countries (e.g. Switzerland or Belgium), you're basically guaranteed a solid chart run because that's how they consume albums there. But yeah, you may be right.
Is it offensive to fall in love with you and everything you do
            and everything you stand for?
Could I break through your invisible wall, could I hide my pride for once,
just to tell you that I see more?

So what flop albums in Europe have spent 8 weeks on the chart in most countries ? This sounds like another fictious tale of yours in the vein of your small rock ( or metal) band who released a fifth single two years after their album dropped to huge success.

OT - Katy may be extremely lucky and snag two more weeks on the BB Top 200.
The album has pretty much disappeared from Spotify WW and I assume it's streaming has been absymal. It kinda came and went.

              • This whole story is going in circles, which might've started with me sounding as if it was a law by nature when in fact some flop albums simply don't drop as harsh in Europe as in the US. E.g. 'Head Above Water' charted for 6 weeks, 'Liberation' for 7 weeks and 'Madame X' for 9 weeks in Switzerland. It wouldn't surprise me if 'Smile' ended with 5-8 weeks on the chart in countries like Switzerland, Belgium, France, Spain and the Netherlands, but then again, do a few weeks more or less really matter?

So because 3 albums charted for more than 6 weeks in Switzerland that led you to make the statement that albums that suffer big drops in the US are all guaranteed to have 5 to 8 week chartrt runs all over Europe.
And no it doesn't matter but it's just you who is making these llogical statements based on seemingly nothing with a time span of 5 to 8 weeks, to give you just enough scope to possibly be right somewhere LOL

Smile is already out of the Netherlands chart, FYI.
