We have not seen "Ultimate Collection" in the UK chart, instead, we have seen "I Will Always Love You: The Best of Whitney Houston" on the chart.

It was certified 17 XP on Nov 1st 1999,when soundscan sales was nearly 11.6 million.
After 2000 GH album released, its sales collapsed, selling less than 50k units since 2000.

The soundscan sales of 2017 was 12.2 million
only add 0.6 million in retail sales since last certification.

The 18Xp update may be a net shipment or SPS Sales

I Will aways love you sold 5.5 million Sps (digital + streams) units because the 10 million units included the 4.6 million or more shipment of the physical singles which are not allowed to count as some units for certification purposes of the album.

the 5.5 million Sps sales of single only equals 0.55 million album units.

The total Sps sales of the album is still no more than 19 million!

All the streams are now going to The best compilation . The record company can request this if they want and that is definitely what happened as one week TUC disappeared from the main chart and The best of has replaced it. I think the R &B charts are pure sales only which means TUC is still selling more actual copies.

InFamous Thanks for shedding some light on this. I would prefer The Ultimate Collection to be in the list because Whitney was still alive when it was released. I love its tracks as well. The Best compilation is just a cash grab.
