Last week saw Voyage at #80 in the UK sales charts and the guessings, that its sales are in the lower hundreds regions seem to be right if the following comparision is acceptable: The latest albums by Mark Owen and The Editors both entered the Top 10 the week before and they were very front loaded, because they managed to fell off the Top 200 in their 2nd week. Both profited in their 1st week from physical sales and very marginally from streamings. Both albums are (were) still listed in the sales Top 100 from last week: Mark Owen at # 34 with sales of 735 and The Editors at #44 with sales of 602. The conclusion is: Voyage was/is very outside the Top 200 and its sales were/are less than 500 sold units.

Most of Gold's "sales" or "chart sales" as the OCC say are Streams these days. But it does actually have real sales - 30 years after release!

GOLD now at around 6,180,000 units in the UK. If the usual 4k sales a week continue, the album will achieve 21*platinum in 30 weeks.

And with an estimated sales of 154,000 this year it looks likely to break last year's 178,000. And come very close to 200,000 sales.

I don't know Voyage's sales for 2022 but likely to be 60,000 plus. Last year's 100th bestseller - according to UKmix's Vidcapper sold 68,000. Perhaps Voyage can make year end Top 100.

The physical market is very small in Swrden - about 7% , which is divided alnost equally between CD and Vinyl. Well that was last year. Probably smaller now.

Yes, the swedish physical market may be very tiny, but it's anyhow good to see, that there still is a demand for Voyage at all. Even it its 30 units a week there.

I'd put Voyage's UK sales at 60k for this year, too, respectively 460k since release.

According to the Spotify-list Benny always posts on the 28th of a month, ABBA lost a little ground with their streaming quote. Compared with the months before they gained with their Top 28 songs a plus of approx. 108,4 million streams (134,4 m in August, 132 m in July). The conclusion is clear: since the peak of ABBA's monthly listeners a few months ago with very close to 25 million, they dropped week by week down to 22,8 m. For a few days they turned around again and surpassed 23,1 million monthly listeners yesterday. Btw: the number of their followers is increasing constantly. Within a few weeks they will surpass 9 million.

The total of these top 28 songs (all songs with more than 30 million streams) is/was 4,062 billion, which represents around 80% of the total of all ABBA-streams (according to chartmaster.org 5,238,4 billion, last updated on Oktober 26th). If the formular 80/20 works, ABBA's monthly streaming-plus is something between 140 m and 170 m.
