Summarizing all the SPS-figures you've recently given for the several ABBA-songs in the US sees a total of 14,121,000! Not to mention the original sales from the 70ies and 80ies and the missing SPS-figures from songs you've not mentioned yet.

Edit: Don't know, if you gave SPS-figures for Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (got a feeling, you did). So there's an extra of 1,754,000. Plus 645,000 for Knowing Me, Knowing You and 590,00 for Super Trouper the total of SPS is 17,110,000.

Don't forget Queen gets 800k sales from The Platinum Collection plus extra from the Greatest Hit/GH 2 package.

Are you sure?

Zeus555 says "Minus the 626,000 'Enhanced Sales', that it was given in 2006.

Which consisted of 560,000 from 'The Platinum Collection', (2000), and 66,000 from a Double Queen Compilation, which was released in 1994."

On that basis Queen Greatest Hits is 274,000 UK Sales in front of 'ABBA Gold'.

Queen's GH may have had an extra 626k sales in 2006. That was 17 years ago. My understanding, is that a third of The Platinum Collection still gets awarded to GH

I thought it was only a one-off situation. I have never heard or seen anywhere that this still continues. I would like to see some evidence. Very interesting it Hits still gets one third of PC. Maybe Zeus555 knows?

Next certification for a single in Germany: The Winner Takes It All - Gold

It's ABBA's 5th officially gold-award and in-officially their 8th (if you include Waterloo - which is likely to get a certification officially, Honey Honey and SOS. For the latter one I have the press release including photograph, taken from DER MUSIKMARKT, early 1976).

The Winner Takes it All under-performed in Germany in 1980, peaking at #4. It was the 10th single in a row not to make #1. Four, The Name of the Game, Eagle, Summer Night City, Does Your Mother Know failed to make the Top 5 and Voulez Vous didn't reach Top 10. At that time it must have looked like ABBA would never have a Gernan #1 single again...but they did. Twice.
