The Beatles: Get Back’ was mostly watched by people aged over 55

Viewing statistics have been revealed for the documentary's first week of release

Released on Disney+ on November 25 (with episode two and three released on November 26 and 27 respectively), 54 per cent of people who watched the series in its first week were over the age of 55. According to Nielsen, 503 million minutes were streamed across the three episodes over the first four days, including Sunday November 28.

As reported by TheWrap, The Beatles: Get Back placed seventh on the most viewed original streaming programmes that week.

Beatles’ Rooftop Concert Coming to IMAX; ‘Get Back’ Series to Blu-ray, DVD

The Beatles are celebrating the anniversary of their legendary performance on the roof of their Apple Corps headquarters in London, with a special one-day exhibition exclusively in participating IMAX theaters. The 60-minute feature, The Beatles: Get Back–The Rooftop Concert, will be shown on screens on January 30, 2022, the anniversary of the 1969 performance. It will be presented with a Q-and-A with filmmaker Peter Jackson, and exclusive mini-posters.

“I’m thrilled that the rooftop concert from ‘The Beatles: Get Back’ is going to be experienced in IMAX, on that huge screen,” said Jackson in the Jan. 5 announcement. “It’s The Beatles’ last concert, and it’s the absolute perfect way to see and hear it.”

A global theatrical engagement of the 60-minute feature will then run on February 11-13.

The band also announced that Jackson’s complete eight-hour docu-series, which has been streaming on Disney+ since late November, will be released on Blu-ray and DVD on Feb. 8.

As is been nearly 3 years since Capitol last had a album certified via the RIAA site, maybe, just maybe we might see another title (Abbey Road comes to mind)
get re certified. 12 X platinum to 16 X platinum?

Also Sgt. Pepper + 4 X Platinum, The Beatles 1 + 3 X Platinum, and so on.
Around 20 albums should be recertified - lifting the RIAA total well over 200 million.

Beatles: Get Back mini-series on blu-ray DVD now advertised on Amazon for £30, to be released on Monday 28th February in UK. (Feb. 8th is US only release date).
