              • That's only for Worldwide sales, and the info is a bit outdated. It seems this was made around the time of St. Anger.

                          • From Billboard:

Metallica, along with Run-D.M.C., Jeff Beck, Little Anthony and the Imperials and Bobby Womack, will be inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame during an April 4 ceremony at Cleveland's Public Hall.

                            They deserve it!

                            • Of course they deserve it. So many non-rock artist are let in , glad to see one of the biggest Hard Rock acts ever is inducted.

Question is which members of the band, past and present? Lars, James and Kirk of course. Rob? Jason? Cliff (R.I.P.)? How about Mustaine

I remember the late great Bon Scott was inducted along with AC/DC in 2003. So I suppose Cliff Burton will be inducted too. He was an integral part of the first 3 albums for sure. But Jason was their Bass player for longer time and on their biggest selling albums too (Justice & Black Album)!

And of course Rob is a current member.

                                                • Some (updated) information on Metallica album sales in Finland.

                                                  See: http://ifpi.fi/tilastot/myydyimmat/kaik ... /albumit/0

Copies of albums sold at the end of 2008:

                                                  - Black Album : 112856 (2x Platinum)
The album was at 102834 at the end of 2007, so a bit more than 10000 copies were sold in 2008.
(in 2007 almost 14578 copies were sold from this one!)
