      Thanks for these stats!

New Jersey and Kepp the Faith seem kind of high...where did you get the numbers from?

Those figures are inflated!!!! I know becasue an associate of mine does European press for BJ and the 100,000 million figure from last year is 'shipments' for all their group and solo albums!!!

Bon Jovi, Slippery When Wet, New Jersey and Kepp the Faith have not sold so huge, in the other side Crossroad sales are higher than 15M.

"Bon Jovi" is certify at 100k out of USA (50k in Canada & Switzerland), you put her sales at 5 millions out of USA, it's really too high.

Maybe it's 100 millions with solo albums I will edit my list

I myself actually wrote some articles about BJ a few year ago and back then sales of New Jersey were at 10 million shipments and 'Keep The Faith' at 8 million shipments.

I certainly doubt the debut album has sold anything more than a couple of million - let alone the quoted seven million. Furhter 'Crush' shifted six million retail sales and was massively overshipped by Island who ran a major and prolonged discounting of the album during its promotion!

However, 'Cross Road' had already passed 14 million shipments back then so perhaps that has increased a bit since given what I presume must be significant back-catalogue sales.

Nelson figures are always too low, it's "normal", they are certifications figures, not sales figures.

I have estimate Bon Jovi (the band only) sales at 88.9M not many time ago...

Those seem more or less correct as 'shipment' figures but as I said earlier, 'These Days' and certainly 'Crush' were both excessively shipped. Example: How on earth has 'These Days' sold 9 million copies worldwide when it's actual sales in the U.S are scraping 800,000?

Your figures do make sense though on the whole, as I also said earlier, their 100 million album sales were derived from shipments and 'all' their solo albums included too. I believe this is now standard practice of quotation from Universal.

These Days is a flop in USA but a huge success in the world. It sold 3 millions copies in Europe and an amazing 840k in Japan. I have estimated TD at 7.5M in the world. USA sales figures are not always reflective of worldwide sales...

I agree, I would say it sold 7-8 million worldwide, as well. I think "Slippery When Wet" sold 19-20 million worldwide.

But I think its worldwide shipments are about 9M, which is the correct figure that I gave. I'm not trying to inflate any artist's sales here

Worldwide sales given from labels and Billboard etc. are always in shipments. It's impossible for us to get actual sales, because we only have certifications internationally, which are shipments.

When I talk about worldwide sales, I'm always using shipments. I say sold because that's what labels say and they do get paid for the amount of albums shipped worldwide.

Anyways, I think "TD" shipped 7-8 million and "SWW" around 20 million.

How did you get 9 million for "TD"?

On the DVD of the Crush Tour Bon Jovi are celebrating the release of the Crush album (2000) and Jon said :" we are releasing our new LP "Cruch" and celebrating sales of 85 millions albums worldwide" that's from the mouth of jon Bon Jovi and that was in 2000.

Then Crush went on to sell 8 millions copies worldwide (official site says 7.5 millions)
Then we have the live LP (2001)= 2 millions copies (official site)
                                        +Bounce (2002)= 3 millions
and This left feels right (2003)= 1 million
                                        So 85+8+2+3+1= 99 millions albums
                                        Whiskey River take my mind,

That's probably because it really hasn't sold that much since. I haven't seen this album on the pop catalog chart in ages.
