Now it has overtaken previous record holders "The Very Best Of" (1990) with 104 weeks and "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" (1973) with 102 weeks on the charts.
Diamonds is now his most successful album in matters of endurance. Even though it is a double album and each unit is only counted once by OfficialCharts company, apart from some effects of streaming data.

With 1149 total weeks on the UK album charts he is now on the verge to overtake Madonna (1152 weeks) and Rod Stewart (1158 weeks).
