Queen’s Greatest Hits I II & III: The Platinum Collection reaches a new high position on the BB200 during its Catalog run as it rises to #64. It was at #48 in its one week on the BB200 as a current album, back in 2002.

Queen’s Greatest Hits I II & III: The Platinum Collection returns to the top 10 Catalogue for the third time at #9, all three top 10 weeks have been this year. EAS points for most of Queen’s hits shifted back from Greatest Hits (which has not been higher than #18 this year) to The Platinum Collection this week…

What is EAS? and how does it work? Is this the reason why Queen's chart performance is either The Platinum Collection or Greatest Hits.

Came across this interesting article form Music & Media Magazine Dated February 23rd 1991
One week after the release of their 16th album, Queen are already breaking their own record. Released on February 4th, Innuendo is the bands Quickest-selling album on a shipment basis. The LP shipped Gold in Germany, Holland, Italy, Switzerland and UK. Initial shipments amount to 675,000, while current sales are now approaching the million mark.
Those figures compare to the band's previous and best selling album, The Miracle, that sold close to 1.5 million (excluding UK). EMI expects Innuendo to easily surpass those figures. This has all been achieved without the band involved in any promotion. No concert tour is scheduled for this year either.
The LP crashed into both the UK and Italian Charts at No1. It entered the charts in Holland at No3, Denmark at No5 and jumped from No72 to No2 in Germany. It has also charted in Sweden, Spain, Norway, Finland, Ireland, Switzerland and Belgium. The Dutch entry sets another record. For the first time in 11 years an LP has entered the charts in the Top5. The last time this occurred was on July 12th 1980 when both The Rolling Stone (Emotional Rescue) and Queen (The Game) entered at No2 and No3 respectively.
Meanwhile the title track of the LP is Top 20 in every European territory excluding France and Sweden

Don't understand the chart at all, but does anybody know what's behind the sudden interest in Japan for Machines (or Back to Humans)? It's an album track from Queen's 1984 album The Works, I wonder if it's in an advert or on a Soundtrack?
