It's an incredible hold considering all the big new releases in the last few days. I'm pretty sure we are in for an even better week going forward. The people at Fox must be super happy!

So the movie made around $31m during this week. As I understand - rather small decline, comparing with previous week ($39,5m or $40,5m / $31m, its -21,5% or -23,5%). Its impressive. A little bit struggles in USA these days, but the results overall are very good.
I believe for the next week we can wait for another $20-25m (and overall about $685-690m).
And $700m will fall the first week of January 2019.

I'm not sure, all I can think is that it's not the kind of film people want to see at Christmas. People generally go for family films over the holidays.

Guys, the movie has already grossed almost $650 millions and moving towards $700 millions, while some of us (but not me ) predicted just 200-300 after all, now after almost 2 months of showing it declines 50%, comparing to the last week, and we still complaining / worrying?
Of course, when you get $600, you want more This is Queen - that means highest standars!
But I think, biopic will smash $700m, but I have doubts a little about USA, reaching $200m.

So the Friday estimate for BR took a 56% hit which is quite a lot. However, if you look at the movies grossing more, 9 of the 11 have been released in the last week. The market place has been saturated largely due to film studios bad planning, there are articles about this on the internet you can see. It'll be interesting to see how things with pan out in to the New year.

The 57% drop in the US is not only due to too many films being released but also you can see that it has had its total number of cinemas showing the movie decreased by a lot, down to 1168 theatres nationwide from 2.027 on Thursday.

In South Korea, BR dropped 47% yesterday (Saturday), largely due again to New releases, especially Aquaman. I don't expect it to go back to number 1 there, although its not impossible. Aquaman will hold the spot for the next couple of weeks at least. DC and Marvel films are generally very front loaded.

Iniziano a crescere gli incassi dei film natalizi, ma il vero fenomeno di stagione rimane Bohemian Rhapsody (guarda la video recensione): ieri al primo posto si è confermato Il Ritorno di Mary Poppins (guarda la video recensione), che ha incassato 741mila euro, mentre Amici come Prima è secondo, con 444mila euro. Il biopic sui Queen ha mantenuto il terzo posto, con ben 415mila euro, che portano il totale a 16,7 milioni: con queste medie è legittimo pensare che il film possa superare i 18 milioni complessivi. 

The Christmas films are starting to grow, but the real phenomenon of the season remains Bohemian Rhapsody: yesterday, the Return of Mary Poppins, which grossed 741 thousand euros, was confirmed while Amici as Prima is second, with 444 thousand euros. The biopic on Queen has maintained the third place, with 415 thousand euros, which bring the total to 16.7 million: with these averages it is legitimate to think that the film can exceed 18 million overall.

I think it's gonna do well over the holidays. Check out how many new films there are, Creed 2 has dropped out, so has fantastic beasts and Mortal engines will drop off too. BR should cling onto the top 10 or there abouts for a while yet.
