Amazing, I'm super pleased about that. There is a good chance now that it may have the same success at the oscars although the film won't be on general release. I see 800 million dollars by February as a strong possibility!

Bryan Singer's Golden Globe-Winning 'Bohemian Rhapsody' Is The Highest-Grossing Drama Ever
Bohemian Rhapsody was also a huge winner at the box office this weekend. Produced for around $55 million, Fox and Regency’s Bohemian Rhapsody has earned $193 million in North America from a $51m debut weekend. That’s a rocking 3.7x weekend-to-final multiplier, and last night’s victory cements its trajectory past the $200m domestic milestone. That’s a stunning win for any movie that isn’t a comic book superhero movie or a big-scale animated feature.
If it passes $222 million domestic (a longshot, even with copious Oscar nods, but possible), it’ll be the biggest musical biopic ever in North America even adjusted for inflation (Coal Miner’s Daughter earned $67m in 1980, which is around $220m adjusted). And it’ll top Interview with the Vampire ($106m in 1994/$221m adjusted) as (ironically) the second-biggest LGBTQIA movie ever behind The Birdcage ($124m in 1996/$247m adjusted). It’s already tops in both categories in unadjusted domestic and global grosses.
Speaking of global, it has proven to be a supersonic juggernaut overseas. The Rami Malek-as-Freddie Mercury musical biopic has earned a stunning $550 million overseas for a $743m global cume. That puts it past Deadpool 2 ($742m, even counting Once Upon A Deadpool) as Fox’s biggest global grosser of 2018. It’ll pass Bryan Singer’s X-Men: Days of Future Past ($747m in 2014) probably by the end of this weekend to become Singer’s biggest global earner (more on that in a moment) and Fox’s biggest hit since Deadpool $783m) in early 2016.
If it gets past Deadpool, it’ll be bigger than any Fox superhero movie (X-Men or otherwise) and bigger than any Fox release since Avatar in late 2009. Once it tops $747 million worldwide, it’ll be Fox’s tenth-biggest global grosser (counting Titanic, which was released by Paramount in North America). It will soon sit behind only Star Wars ($775m, counting the many reissues), Deadpool ($783m in 2016), Independence Day ($821m in 1996), Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith ($849m in 2005), Ice Age: Continental Drift ($877m in 2012), Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs ($887m in 2009), Star Wars Episode One: The Phantom Menace ($1.027 billion, counting the 2012 3-D reissue), Titanic ($2.1b, counting the reissues) and Avatar ($2.78b in 2009/2010).
In just overseas grosses (thanks, as always, to Box Office Mojo for making this research so much easier), it’ll soon pass Revenge of the Sith ($552.5 million) to sit behind only Dawn of the Dinosaurs ($690m in 2009), Continental Drift ($716m in 2012), Titanic ($1.5b, counting reissues) and Avatar ($2b). Bohemian Rhapsody will earn more overseas than any Fox Star Wars movie, any X-Men/Deadpool flick and any Fox movie that isn’t a James Cameron joint or an Ice Age sequel. Inflation, deflation and exchange rates notwithstanding, that’s stunning. Had he not been fired from the picture and hounded by old #TimesUp-unfriendly allegations (and new ones allegedly about to be revealed), Singer’s career would be shooting into the stratosphere right now.
He just directed (more or less, save for Dexter Fletcher’s relief pitching) a musical biopic aimed at adults that earned more than any of his superhero movies. That would be like if Interstellar out-grossed The Dark Knight Rises worldwide. Whether or not he actually directs Millennium’s Red Sonja (if Avi Learner wants to burn money arguably partially to stick it to the #MeToo crowd, that’s his prerogative), Singer is still the guy who got fired from the movie and is treated by “He Who Must Not Be Named” as the film racks up plaudits, prizes and box office.
Here’s one last stat to offer: With $744 million worldwide (and plenty more left in the can), Bohemian Rhapsody has made more money in unadjusted global grosses (and without China or 3-D enhancement) than any straight drama in history. It has earned more than any drama that doesn’t contain action sequences (Skyfall or Fate of the Furious), disaster carnage (Titanic or 2012), thriller tropes (The Da Vinci Code), superheroes (The Dark Knight or Black Panther) or fantasy worlds (E.T. or Inception). In terms of old-school “drama,” Bohemian Rhapsody is at the top of its class at the global box office.

Incredible Bohemian Rhapsody, cool of victory at the Golden Globes, which goes to take the third position with 115 thousand euro, which bring its total to 23.5 million euro (passed Minions, now is the fourth best collection of the decade).
All crazy for Bohemian Rhapsody in the East, except for China where the film did not come out. In Japan, more than two months after its release, the film is still at the top of the chart with 75 million dollars and is now sure that it will become the best collection of 2018, with the prospect of reaching 100 million dollars.
Not too dissimilar is the situation in South Korea, where the film has reached 74.6 million dollars with 9.6 million spectators and ended the weekend in third place behind Ralph Spacca Internet and Aquaman, respectively arrived at 6 and 36 million dollars.
Bohemian Rhapsody è 3° in classifica al Box Office, ieri ha incassato € 115.853,00 e registrato 18.335 presenze.

So I think the film should pass 770 million this weekend globally, then close to 790 the following weekend and then 800 million the following weekend. The success at the golden globes should carry it through January. This film couldn't have been more of a success and it's proven the critics wrong!

With the Bohemian Rhapsody Soundtrack currently the 4th biggest selling weekly album on the Media Traffic chart with a combined total of 1,329,000 copies sold to date has anyone kept a record of the albums peak positions around the world? This is what I have found so far, surprisingly low in Germany, although the Platinum Collection is at a new peak of No5 in Germany this week. Obviously sales have been affected by Greatest Hits and The Platinum Collection, if they weren't available this soundtrack might have sold a lot more copies!
