I think BR has also become the highest 3 day weekend Multiplier, which also was 'Frozen'.

                        • 'A star is born' won't pass BR at the North American box office. It only took 14,000 dollars more on Thursday. BR is still well over 500,000 dollars ahead, I just can't see it.

Nah. Unless WB gives it ANOTHER push with another new longer edit . ASIB has a very low PTA ($69 on Thursday) compared to BR ($109 on Thursday). It dropped to 443 theaters and BR dropped to 256.

With both movies being out on streaming and physical formats there's just not enough interest to watch any of these in theaters anymore. I'm guessing FOX would've have pulled BR already if WB wasn't hanging with ASIB. WB is keeping ASIB hoping BR will leave the theaters and maybe it will have a chance to catch up to it and FOX won't do that of course. But the new cut did give ASIB a bigger push than I thought it would.

Great to see 'A night at the opera' at number 38. I hope it sticks around for a while. I wouldn't mind betting ASIB, BR and TGS soundtracks will all be in the top 10 at Christmas in 7 months! You can see the albums only drop when there are new releases above them. They all have tremendous legs.,

ASIB won't be able to reach BR now. Its 600 k behind and the daily numbers are so close now. As for the global haul, it'll probably round off at 880. It might be able to reach 890 without China, hard to tell.
