Continue the triumphal march of Bohemian Rhapsody (watch the video review), which exceeds 25 million with over 3.5 million viewers: the next targets will be the overtaking against Inside Out and Star Wars: The Awakening of the Force, then the biopic on the Queen will be the second best collection of the decade, just behind Quo Vado?

            Weekend #Boxoffice (est.) Spain

            January 11th-13th
            1#Aquaman €0.9M ($13.1M total)
            2#BohemianRhapsody €0.7M ($27.9M highest-grossing title 2018)
            3#MaryPoppinsReturns €0.6M ($8.8M)
            4 #Vice €0.5M
            5#AsterixLeSecretDeLaPotionMagique €0.5M

Enhorabuena.

In second place the incombustible Bohemian Rhapsody. Get more than 0.7M € with an increase of 45% with respect to the collection of last week. All this due to the Golden Globes that have given a new push at the box office. Its accumulated is estimated at € 24.4M. It is only an estimate but, if it is fulfilled, it would become the highest grossing film of the premieres in 2018. Congratulations.

                      Incredible!
Yes I would be a push. It will depend on how it will hold up in Japan.
If it will mirror S.Korea (pop. / revenue) 75m in SK is roughly 188 million in Japan

                        • SPS really messes up the GH albums.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie Scores First No. 1 on Billboard 200 Albums Chart With 'Hoodie SZN'
                          1/14/2019 by Keith Caulfield

Closing out the new top 10 is Queen’s Greatest Hits I II & III: The Platinum Collection, which vaults from No. 137 to No. 10 with 38,000 units (up 453 percent).

It’s an unusual climb, which requires a bit of explaining. For chart purposes, SEA and TEA activity for an artist’s song, when it is on the tracklist of multiple albums by that artist, goes to whichever album is selling the most in a given week.

So in the week ending Jan. 10, as The Platinum Collection sold more than Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack album (8,000 vs. 7,000 copies), the former gets the SEA and TEA activity for songs that appear on both titles -- like “Bohemian,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions.”

Meanwhile, the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack falls 15-76 (10,000 units; down 62 percent).

Next week, if Bohemian Rhapsody ends up selling more than Platinum, then the SEA and TEA for the songs shared across both albums reverts back to Bohemian Rhapsody.

BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY INFINITO: BACK TO BOX OFFICE 2ND BEHIND AQUAMAN

Bohemian Rhapsody, which returns to second place with 99 thousand euros and a total of 25.1 million. By the end of the week the biopic on the Queen will have become the second best collection of the decade behind Quo Vado ?.

The oriental markets are rather moving, this week, in particular the Korean one, which has seen two films that have hit the box office debut: MAL · MO · E: The Secret Mission, debuted with almost 9 million dollars, leading to the cinema well 1 million spectators, while in second place was placed The Dude in Me, excellent with almost 6 million dollars. Well American films: Ralph Spacca Internet has arrived almost 10 million, Aquaman at 38 and Bohemian Rhapsody at 75.6 million, almost 10 million spectators, a crazy datum.

Even more resounding is the figure of the Japanese weekend where he is back ... Bohemian Rhapsody, who won with an increase of 84% compared to last week thanks to the "boost" of the Golden Globe, reaching a total of 84, 2 million and officially becoming the most watched film of 2018. The road to 100 million is now leveled. Good second, debut, Fate / stay night: Heaven's Feel II - Lost Butterfly that opened with 5 million dollars.

                                  • That incredible turn around in Japan will mean the actual take worldwide for the weekend would be higher also. Weekend take maybe of around 17.5 or 18 million? Am I right? What was the original estimate?

"BR had the best drop of all movies (according to numbers from cine-directors) and exceeded 4M as the 7th movie in 2018. It's safe to say now that it'll become the 5th biggest title of the year as it already passed FB2. It already got a x4,3 multipler and still has some steam. It may get close to 4,5M."
