Thank you, John. I didnīt know that, although, as I was told yesterday, Queen are a bit secretive regarding box office and that sort of stuff so I doubt they reported their numbers. For their previous tour, they only reported their two North American legs, but not their european and japanese conecrts, where they achieved most of their success with that tour.
Pollstar may have these euro shows. In general european promoters report to pollstar and not billboard
Thank you John again. Thatīs great to me. I know the Pollstar online site, but do you know in which section they give boxscores for certain concerts assuming they are shown in the site. I havenīt found any for their previous tour in Europe in 2005.

This week Queens Greatest Hits is still in the top 100 UK album chart - it slips from 92 to 93 in the chart. Other sales figures in the chart are
6,674 copies sold for the Saturdays at number 84. Queen should still have sold around 5,500 copies this week at 9 places below this album. It will once again this year be one of the biggest selling catalogue albums in the UK....
Queens Greatest Hits drops from 90 to 92 in this weeks UK chart. At number 85, Saturdays album sells 6,245 copies so Queens album may have actually seen an increase from last week probably selling 5,500-6,000 copies.
Should easily sell 100,000+ by year end...
Thank you, Edwood. I think it is more likely 5,000 copies this week based on its current positions. Assuming the album sold 40,000 from january to the end of july this year, I estimated "Greatest hits 1" sold roughly 106,000 copies so far counting this very week.
HUR, just found some more sales info. on Haven.com.
The Sugababes at number 91 on the album chart sold 5,767 copies last week so Queen at one place below them should have sold over 5,500 copies.
I dont know if we are going to get any Top 200 album chart info. for the remainder of the year. It would be interesting to see if The Cosmos Rocks, The Platinum Collection or Greatest Hits 2 are still in this...

On the other hand, two new Soundscan sales figures:
5 HOL 186 146 83 QUEEN GREATEST HITS-WE WILL ROCK YOU 2,990 68 1,784 773,979
Combining both versions, they both achieved 7,335,208 since Soundscan has been tracking retail sales in USA. Interestingly, it looks like they havenīt been selling less on a weekly basis because, as much as 1992 has dropped a lot, 2004 really increased its sales in recent weeks.
Youīre welcome, Luca. On the other hand, they guys drew 17,000 poeple in Chile and 45,000 in Argentina. None of them re counted in the billboard boxscores this week, based on what I checked.
billboard often published latin boxscores (from evenpro mainly) but always with delay, we just have to wait

hi HUR, I was wondering who were the biggest selling artists in Latin America and where Queen might come on that list? thanks.
Nuclear, sorry for the delay, but I was trying to find a post of MJDangerous where I asked him about the best selling acts ever in Latin America. Hoever, I couldnīt manage to find it. But I remember him citing Queen as one of the very best sellers ever in Latin America.
Good news from Brazil, now speaking of Latin america: "Collection 2" shipped 40,000 copies on first week.

Bestiamodesta, I agree that the DVD "Queen rock montreal" performed pretty well. When it was first released last year, I thought it wasnīt doing that well, but it reached its peak in many countries several weeks after it was released. In Switzerland, it is gold too.
