On UK albums chart this week the following sales have been shown at Haven.com

    3751 Girls Aloud GHs (44)
    3052 Girls Aloud TU (54)

Queens Greatest Hits which was at number 40 should have sold over 4,000 copies whilst The Cosmos Rocks at number 55, 1 below Girls Aloud, may have scraped another 3,000 sales...

Thank you for the update. It is interesting how a good share of unofficial releases have been doing well in different countries.

Yes I would say thats about right HUR - I still think this album has a chance of making 100,000 sales in the UK by the end of 2008. It should enjoy decent sales in next few weeks with the UK tour. Can't beleive that Greatest Hits is outselling it though - a 27 year old album outselling an album only released just over a month ago.... :-?

Thank you, Edwood, good news from UK. I take that "The cosmos rocks" has sold roughly 53,000 copies so far in UK, based on weekly sales which I have been able to estimate and using its first week (28,112 at #5) revealed by Musicweek. Not sure if you agree on that. "Greatest hits 1" has sold around 31,000 in the last 6 weeks too.

3 Queen albums in the UK Top 75 chart this week:

    37. (37) GREATEST HITS (Queen) I think its now been on top 75 chart for 468 weeks - only 10 weeks now behind 'Rumours'
    45. (45) THE COSMOS ROCKS (Queen+Paul Rodgers) 5 wks
    75. (RE)(90) GREATEST HITS II (Queen)

Sales for More Than A Lot (Chase & Status) at number 49 were 3234 copies, and Ray Lamontagne at 23 sold 7687 copies so Cosmos Rocks probably sold 4,000 copies with Greatest Hits on probably 5,000....

    In UK DVD chart:
    27 (26) Queen - Live At Wembley Stadium '86 (179 weeks)
