                • Catalog Albums/Billboard 200 Chart Update – February 6, 2021

Spending its third week of 2021 at #1 is Queen’s Greatest Hits, climbing a spot to #32 BB200. It’s the first album to spend three weeks at #1 in 2021 on either chart. For a second straight week it flies in ahead of SZA’s Ctrl at the #2 spot.

Greatest Hits still has a long way to catch the No1 for 'weeks at No1' on the Billboard Catalogue Chart. That honour goes to Bob Marley's Legend with 126 weeks, Queen are clear at No2 now but still way behind Bob with GH's on 70 weeks

                                                  Catalog Albums/Billboard 200 Chart Update – March 6, 2021

The Beat Goes On for Queen

Queen’s Greatest Hits logs its sixth straight week atop the Catalog chart, dropping three spots to #27 on the BB200 but still well out in front of all the other catalog status albums. This week it settles for the #2 position among catalog sellers, with a #13 ranking on Top Album Sales (TAS). At 71 weeks at #1 Catalog, it still has 55 weeks to go to match the record by Bob Marley & The Wailers’ Legend, but it already has the most weeks at #1 for any catalog album in a two-year span (60 #1 weeks in 2019-2020 combined, six more than Creed’s My Own Prison got in 2000-2001). It also has the most #1 weeks in a three-year span (67 weeks from 2019-2021; once again the runner up is Creed, which got all 54 of its #1 weeks in 2000-2001; that total is unsurpassed by any album’s three-year span besides Queen). With just three more weeks at #1 in 2021, Greatest Hits will become the first album to spend 10 or more weeks at #1 in three consecutive calendar years.

CATALOG CHART STATISTICS - Through 2021-03-06
