I've actually just noticed that my 1992 sales only start from July 1992, LAW 86 was released on 26th May of that year, so there are about 2 months (June & July) missing. In light of this I imagine it has easily passed 500,000 overall UK sales.

The Music Club sales only started in 1993, it's a bit like a movie, it gets released first into Cinemas, then you have to wait a few months until it is available to buy on DVD, Music Clubs have the same approach. The CD etc has to have been selling for a while into the shops etc then Music Clubs get them a few months later.

The sales jump can be explained as such. Between 1992 and 2003, the CD version had dealer price (Record Company to Retailer price) of £11.50-£13.99, then in 2003 it dropped to £9.15 and then in 2005 it dropped again to £4.60. So it has clearly been heavily reduced over the past few years hence the sales hikes.

understood! Yes 2 months of sales especially the 1st 2 months after release could represent significant sales. this are the 1st 5 weeks in the chart *2*-3-7-8-18 according the hanboo's Chart Histories thread - so yes well over 500K

Great figures there for Wembley '86.

I saw on about page 5-6 of this topic sales figures for Queen Albums from Queen 1 to about Jazz (also Innuendo).

Do you or does anyone else have UK sales figures for albums running from 'The Game' to ' Made in Heaven'?

I think we already have total sales for Greatest Hits 1 and Greatest Hits 2....

Compiled directly from the band’s phenomenally successful Greatest Hits 1 album, which has to date sold in excess of 25 million copies worldwide, the DVD arrives after more than twelve months of extensive archive research and audio and visual enhancement.

Under the close supervision of Brian May and Roger Taylor, Queen engineer Justin Shirley Smith has re-mixed these classic Queen tracks from the original masters in both stunning DTS 5.1 surround sound and stereo.

David Mallet, whose association with Queen as video director spans over 20 years, has meticulously overseen the restoration of the videos. The majority, some, astoundingly, almost 30 years old, have been re-graded and colourised giving them a new lease of life.

Last week Queen's 'The Platinum Collection' passed the 4 million sales mark globally on the EMI label. Theses sales do not include any sales on Hollywood Records in Canada and USA.

Thank you, glad to see you back here. I would have thought that the Platinium collection was at a higher number outside USA and Canada. That is, looking at some sales from Europe the album seems to be close to the 4 million mark. But welll, it´s good to have official information from EMI since it´s very difficult to find claim for Queen albums.
