Hi HUR,
I have these figures for Platinum Collection from 2000. Should be able to get 2006 sales in a week or two.
Queen - Platinum Collection
2000 --- 51,882
2001 --- 41,340
2002 --- 844,115
2003 --- 250,709
2004 --- 153,170
2005 --- 157,929
Total Sales --- 1,499,145
Not too sure about 2004, I think I have 2 Sales Quarters Missing.

Jimmypage59 mate, do you have total sales for the Platinium collection in UK?. I know tha sales are low in this moment of the year, but it was very successful in the last years.
I know this from music week:
2002: between 700.000 and 800.000
2003: 268.000
2004: 218.000
2005: 149.000
And it had been released in 2000.
In 2006, sales were not that big, but some weeks ago it sold 14.000 (it may have sold about 50 k during the whole year.

Greatest hits 1 has re-entered at number 33 (461 weeks on the charts) and the Platinium collection is at number 40.

Iīm not sure, but I know that until some months back "A night at the opera" was at 41 k, "Sheer heart attack" at 24 k. Sales of Greatest hits 2 and the Platinium collection may have been very good.
Estonia albums charts this week:
-The platinium collection: N 9
-Greatest hits 1: N 52
-Greatest hits 2: N 64
Last year, "the very best of Freddie Mercury" reached number one, and also the DVD and "Lover of life singer of songs".
But a bizarre thing was at week 47 in 2006:
-"News of the world": N 21
-"The miracle": N 23
-Greatest hits 2: N 75
-Greatest hits 3: N 91

Great Sales figures again considering no new releases or compilations (No 27 Year End), Queen actually sold 640,000 albums in the UK last year so does anybody have a detailed breakdown of this total?

Greatest hits 1 sold 145.000 copies in 2006, and Live at wembley sold 109.000 copies.

Hello, thank you. Nice name.
Well, I didnīt know about that, but it could be a good explanation. The song "I want it all" is not listed on the Greatest hits, but in Classic queen (if Iīm not wrong), but maybe people donīt like its whole track-listing, and they go for the box set.

And in 2006, Queen sold 993.000 copies in USA, and 640.000 in UK. Thtaīs a total of 1.633.000. Their catalog sold well in countries like Italy, Spain and other.
And besides, Live at wembley sold about 46.000 copies during 2006. The total was at 251.000 at the end of 2005, which brings it up to 297.000. Dispite that, I have a figure of over 267.000 from 2005, which includes formats not counted in the previuos figure. This means that Live at wembley sold surely over 300.000 copies in UK.
