75 Top10 Weeks, 2 No1 Albums. Amazing success for The Miracle considering Queen never toured the Album, it will be interesting to see if The Miracle Box Set charts in Germany!
Nobody written here, so I will do - there will be released "new" Queen song in September, with Freddie vocals - finished demo from The Miracle sessions.
Although there is no mention about the song itself in the article, but rumors goes that it will be "Face it alone".
It seems to be true, because until these news, there were lots of proper demos in youtube, and now they are gone.... I think record company asked to remove it. This is just my theory.
PS I found one less or more proper demo, but it was put on youtube just few days ago - after these news were released.
PS IMHO, I don't think that Face it alone is their best unreleased try, or even one of the best. I think I Guess We're Falling Out is much better, more melodic and interesting, would be more radio friendly hit...

Any idea why The Miracle did so well in Germany?
I think Queen's popularity just increased in Germany after 1986. As you see, except GH, every studio album (including 70's era) just missed the top spot. I think The Miracle was their first No 1 studio album there, Innuendo also No 1, as Made in Heaven, which was mega hit there. So, maybe Germany fully discovered Queen only past 1986 period.

Thanks Lawyeris. I was surprised by Flash Gordon as well, it did ok considering it’s not a real studio album. I think Made in Heaven did 1.5 million in Germany by early ‘96.
i agree about the new release as well. I don’t think it’s a great choice, there are a few others that are much better
