The Miracle - No Show In North America

Very disappointing results for The Miracle in America and Canada. It's not charted in The Billboard Top 200 or Canadian Top 100 Album charts.

In fact it hasn't charted in any eligibile chart it could have featured in. Has this release been taken on by Hollywood Records? Is it actually available in North America? It also hasn't charted in Australia which is surprising too!

By the way, re-issue of the Beatles Revolver is doing pretty well, after hitting No 2 spot, it didnt disappear from the chart, still 5 weeks in a row already...( 2, 11, 26, 41, 37).

Why not The Miracle the same???

Overall, TB are way bigger than Queen. I also don't get it why all re-issues are flopping/underperforming, tbh. I find The Miracle as one of their the finnest albums ever (my personal fave one) - all singles and MVs are inconic. It was also a quite big commercial success back in 1989. Anyway, I hope they will also release Innuendo Collector's Edition in max 2 years.

I think Queen's songs are bigger than The Beatles but The Beatles albums are bigger than Queen's. Queen's Greatest hits was released at a time when they were still a huge band. It took away the need to buy their studio albums. The Beatles compilations were all released after they'd split up. Still, Queen's catalogue is streamed more than The Beatles if you add up the numbers from all platforms.

Why not The Miracle the same???

Surely you cannot be serious. Surely you can't expect The Miracle to rival Revolver. Revolver is one of the supposed greatest albums of all time, lauded and nominated by some, as the greatest and most influential ever. The other is not even a favourite amongst Queen fans.

Just looking at a few things, should tell you it's naive to think The Miracle should be rivalling Revolvers chart performance and sales. Such as, their overall Spotify streams, Revolver: 917m, The Miracle: 340m. I know these are worldwide but still the gap should indicate each albums general popularity. Their UK shipments, Revolver shipped 552k between July 1992 and Dec 2006, The Miracle shipped only 71k, in the same time period. Their Physical UK sales, Revolver is probably around 2m, The Miracle I'd say 550k-600k. Add all that to the critical acclaim and praise Revolver receives and The Miracle doesn't and it's clear to see "Why not The Miracle the same???"
