US Billboard Charts - 23/02/2019 (Number 1 in 9 Charts)
Another soundtrack, Bohemian Rhapsody, rebounds to its peak position on the Billboard 200, as it zooms from No. 11 to No. 3 with 48,000 units (up 84 percent). The album’s parent film of the same name was released on DVD and blu-ray on Feb. 12, thus stirring interest in the movie’s soundtrack with consumers. (The movie was already available on digital home video.)

Billboard 200/Catalog Albums Chart Update – February 23, 2019
Queen’s Greatest Hits is emerging as the year’s Catalog front runner, enjoying another week at #1 Catalog (4 straight, 8 overall) and Catalog Sales (5 straight, 6 overall). This occurs even as the Bohemian Rhapsody soundtrack jumps to #3 coinciding with the movie’s home release. See also below for a big milestone for this album. In other news: a return to the top 10 for Jim Croce.
MIG’S MILESTONES
Queen, Greatest Hits – Spends its 100th week in the top 10 of the Catalog chart, becoming only the 24th album to achieve that august feat. Queen’s GH first appeared on Catalog in 1996. Only five albums appearing for the first time on Catalog after 2000 have made the 100-week top 10 milestone: The Beatles’ 1 and Tim McGraw’s Greatest Hits (2002), Michael Jackson’s Number Ones and Guns ‘N Roses Greatest Hits (2006), and Adele’s 19 (2009). There will be some more (including a post-2010 debut) before the year is over.

Originally posted by Lawyeris View PostAnd Bohemian Rhapsody could easily become the most successful movie of 2018 in Finland, because this total gross, which guaranteed No 3, is until 1st of January (I guess), and the movie could have its good run during January and now - February (as in many countries). And it is usual rule, that the list of most successful movies of 2018 (in this case) is updating as long as those movies, released in 2018, are running, even in 2019.

http://ses.fi/en/news/news/?tx_ttnew...06b09805e5a416
Bohemian Rhapsody was the 3rd most successful movie in 2018 @ 299,906 admissions. Black Panther was in
11th position (151,480 admissions) and had a total gross of $2,202,472.
Therefore, BR must have made something like $4.5M+.
Box Office Mojo shows BR as the 20th most successful movie of 2018 in Finland; it's more likely the 2nd most successful - only beaten by Mamma Mia!
Why can't the figures be updated to show this!

If you scroll to the bottom of this link, they mention that Queen are surging and to look out in the charts after the Oscars. Could the BR soundtrack reach number 1 in the US charts?

figures, just the opening weekend.
