Thanks Braca. You know there should be separate all time lists for numbers of tickets sold per country. I think it's a more accurate way of looking at a films popularity and its cultural impact, combined with historic multipliers, the multipliers give you an idea on how different countries and cultures enjoy the film. So if you look at the link below you can see the insane multipliers in Japan, South Korea, South Africa and Czech Republic amongst others. Yet if you look at The Philippines and Indonesia, its very disappointing, could this be a religious/conservative thing? Unless the figures haven't been updated.

Interesting list. The Japanese movies here are all animated. With the exception of 'Beauty and the beast' which BR will pass, you would have to go back to 2010 to 'Alice in wonderland' to find a higher grossing foreign movie, 'Frozen' being the exception but again that's animated.

As mentioned in the weekend forecast, this weekend was a slow one before the upcoming Spring box office season begins. A few films did drop a bit harder than expected, but overall, no notable performances really.

>Bohemian Rhapsody is still going strong, and achieves the fifth biggest fifteenth weekend on record, and is only the sixth film to gross more than ¥100 million in its fifteenth weekend of release.
