                              in what? sales or music?

IMHO Killers are 100times more credible than Evanescence that sound more like a teen band with guitar (like linkin park) oriented.
some song aren't bad (Hello is a very very very good song) but they will never enter in history of rock music, the killers is more probable.
Evanescencd is too hated by the critics.
Rhcp's Stadium Arcadium is not a wonderful cd (better than By The Way for sure) but Rhcp made history in past years with some must-have albums (BSSM and Californication) and with their funk-rap-rock sound in '80 that influenced a lot of of '00 rap-metal bands.

if you talk abou sales..is sure than Open Door not pass the 1,1m of Stadium Arcadium in first week and never reach n.1 in 26 countries like Stadium Arcadium.
more i predict that The killers album will sell more than Evanescence one in first week (with a very littlr difference..somethink like 750k vs 800k).

No, the Killers also have teenage audience, plus they seem like manufactured cool sometimes, and their last album was full of fillers (the other songs were not as good as the singles). Evanescence will probably beat them in the 1st week sales worldwide, because Killers´ main public is UK/USA, while Ev is worldwide popular - there´s not a single country in the world where their last album wasn´t sucessful. So The Killers might have a huge vantage in UK but Evanescence beats them anywhere else. They won´t sell the same as RHCP on the 1st week, but it takes years to build such a solid fanbase like RHCP, which you can´t expect of an act on its 2nd album, unless it´s something novelty like Oops I Did It Again or N Sync stuff in the 90´s.

They sold 160k in USA this week, acording to HDD, but fall to # 2 being outsold by old grampa Rod Stweart with his new album of old songs which sold 182k, but considering how they got their sales wrong last week (underestimated by 40k) maybe we can´t hope it ends at # 1 on the actual chart.
