Eminem shouldn't be credited with D-12, or the 8 Mile soundtrack. Its like crediting Celine Dion with the sales for all of her soundtracks - adding some 60m sales to her already 170m tally, or crediting Madonna with the sales of the soundtracks that she has performed on, or Elton Jonh with the soundtracks he has performed on.

Do the RIAA or Soundscan credit Em with 8 Mile?

              I completely agree with you.

Although i do believe with Eminem it is different to Celine or Elton as Eminem starred in 8 mile and wrote the only single from the album. Plus D12 only sold because of Eminem.

All i'm showing is all the albums of which Eminem has has made/wrote huge work in.

I think Garth Brooks and his 100m discs shipped has something to say about that.

It's really amazing how Recovery is selling over such a long time although the era was relatively short... Seems like 2 hits were enough to make the people buy it week after week, I guess Eminem mustn't have even released No Love back then...
