Yeah but still, duo is formed of two people, their songs are duets, so credit should go to both, while groups have 4 or 5 members thus it's trickier to give credit to all of them, especially when their names are not mentioned in the group name. It seems like Billboard goes back-and-forth on whether or not they include Sonny and Cher records in Cher's chart history. They were a separate recording act, not simply two solo artists who kept duetting. Quite frankly if they do there's no reason for them to not include Jackson 5 records with Michael Jackson's chart history, and Diana Ross and the Supremes in with Diana's.Leave a comment:

I'd say 12 million for the album, as for the single, well, the total in available certified and some reported sales are 7 million, and that is only counting 12 countries, so the single is in the 10-11 million range for sure, especially with the digital sales!Leave a comment:
