                      NEW RELEASES: STILL A COLE WORLD

                      With only 12 songs and no physical release, J. Cole’s The Off-Season (Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope) will make a run for the biggest first week so far this year. The current champ is Taylor Swift’s re-recorded Fearless (Taylor’s Version) [Republic] at 291k. Nicki Minaj’s repackaged Beam Me Up Scotty (Republic), lands with three new songs added to the 12 year old mix tape.

                      Here’s what we know today:

                      J. Cole (Dreamville/Roc Nation/Interscope) 280-310k total activity, 35-40k albums
                      Nicki Minaj (Republic) 65-75k, 9-11k
                      Alan Jackson (EMI Nashville) 28-32k, 21-24k

                          Alan Jackson captures his 15th top 10 album on the Billboard 200 as his new studio effort Where Have You Gone debuts at No. 9. The set earned just under 32,000 equivalent album units. Of that sum, album sales comprise 27,000, SEA units comprise 4,000 (equaling 6.04 million on-demand streams of the album’s songs) and TEA units comprise 1,000.

                            Country king Alan Jackson debuts at No. 3 on Top Album Sales with his new studio set Where Have You Gone, selling 27,000 copies. Of that sum, physical album sales comprise 18,000 (all from CDs), while digital album sales comprise 9,000.

                            Where Have You Gone is Jackson’s 16th top 10 and highest charting title since 2012’s No. 2-peaking Thirty Miles West. Where Have You Gone is also the top-selling country album of the week.
