It's wonderful that she's not forgotten in Japan at least! I'm quite disappointed about her sales in Europe. I thought she was bigger there! As for the Japanese charts are these the overall charts (including Japanese artists)?Comment

Yep, she was #9 on the overall chart yesterday, but she's down to #12 today.

Tuesday: #20
Wednesday: #20
Thursday: #9
Friday: #12
She'll end up top 15 on the overall chart which is brilliant! To clarify, yesterday she had the #2 international album in Japan behind Hard Candy which is benefitted from the help of both 4 Minutes & Miles Away. ;)Comment

Her album is certainly much better than Madonna's crap. it would be so wonderful if she could overtake Madonna in the charts but a top 15 entry would be great as well .Comment

Judging from how Japanese sales today are, she'll debut with around 15,000 on the ORICON overall weekly chart. Last week, the #10 sold 12,000 copies with the #15 album selling 7K. She probably won't go Gold (100,000 units shipped) until the album has scanned 50-60,000 over there. I do think the album has a bit of longevity there and spend atleast 15 weeks on the overall top 300 album chart.

I know that the album "True Colors" entered the Australian charts at #1 and stayed there for four weeks. I remember reading it on the Billboard-magazine a long time ago
The title track went to #3 in Australia, I think, and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun was #1.
I also read somewhere that she had 3 #1 singles in Canada: Girls Just want To Have Fun, Time After Time and True Colors. She's So Unusual went to #1 there for 2 weeks!Comment

swisscharts.com will let you find chart runs if you find the dates Cyndi was on their charts by searching her name, I think they have top 30 for pre-90s singles/albums...and you can search for certification awards.
http://lescharts.com/ provides French chart info for Cyndi if you search her name and look in their chart archives for chart runs.
And I compiled Cyndi's Billboard chart runs for every chart she charted on throughout her career, if you give me any specific requests I can post them here, or do you want all singles, and albums? and for what billboard charts?
