Bring Ya to the Brink on iTunes album charts:
USA: #29
Canada: #27

I really hope this can make the top 40...although I doubt it since there is such a lack of promo from Cyndi and Sony. But I did notice she was on the front page of iTunes!
Unfortunately, I think Cyndi will be lucky to reach the top 100 though...Donna Summer gave me hope as her dance album is top 20 on HDD chart but she of course had American Idol...

The album in Japan this week:
Oricon International Album chart TOP20-2008/6/2-
(Left To Right:Rank of Int.chart,Rank of Overall chart,Rank of Overall chart(LW),Title,Artist,Sales for one week,Total Sales,Peak Pos.,Weeks On Chart)
10 [42] (18) Bring Ya To The Brink-Cyndi Lauper (3,955) [11,226] # 18 , 2 wks
So down 5-10 on the international chart & 18-42 overall. Not so bad I guess.

Unfortunately, I think the iTunes peak will be much higher than the BB200 peak. I could be completely off but I don't want to be disappointed. But if it did make the top 20 on the album chart that would be amazing...her highest charting album since True Colors.

And BTW, Bring Ya To the Brink is getting rave reviews at iTunes and Amazon! Let's see what the first-day sales Report from HDD as to say...“A sure way to lose happiness, I found, is to want it at the expense of everything else.” - Bette Davis

True Colors peaked at #4.

No True Colors peaked #14, She's so Unusual #4 [url="http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&searchlink=CYNDI|LAUPER&sql=11:fifexqe5ldde~T5http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=am ... qe5ldde~T5[/url]

Thanks, LA
She's done quite well on that chart!

She's #50 in the US currently, that's very disappointing. I think that these charts are quite the same like Billboard. This album is so great but it isn't being promoted at all! Sony sucks!

And you need to remember bar At Last she hasn't had a top 50 album since A Night to Remember in 1989. Her last album of all new and original material only spent one week on the whole top 200 at #188. So this is a vast improvement. Especially since there's no promo.

Ok 45% sales update on HDD, and she's no longer in the top 50 - time to panic.
