I have a feeling that eventually Girls… will overtake I Wanna Dance.. and be the #1 streamed song of the 80s. It’s not only a great song but it’s truly an anthem and an ode to independence.

There's another Platinum certification in June 2007. Must be for the digital single.

This is eligible for 4x Platinum with the RIAA!
Wow that's massive. It just shows how much of a classic this song is.

The other Platinum certification is for ringtones/mastertones in 2007.

Overall figures with physicals are now at 5,485,000 units and with ringtones, it's at 6.4M. Needs to be certified 5x Platinum!

Once again, thank you so much.

Also one of my favorite Cyndi albums. Can't believe it didn't give her some global hits.

I found those informations in three differents journals, all from November 1989. The article below says she got 2 gold records in Brazil, plus a platinum one for the records: ANTR, TC and SSU. The article says that in total she sold 800,000 in Brazil.

    Brazil sales

    A Night to Remember

    Brazil: +100,000 (Gold)
    World: 1,300,000

    True Colours
    Brazil: +250,000 (Platinum)

    She's so Unusual
    Brazil: +100,000 (Gold)
