Man eater, promiscuous and say it right are all doing well with the tik tok users so I see more certs for loose in the future. She really needs to make a loose part 2 and work with those guys again and do it on her own terms this time.

I don't think she'll ever release another album. She seems through with the business. If anything, it will be an indie record like her last one. I don't see a Loose part II coming from her.

It's still shocking to me how a song like this only reached #1 for ONE week in the US. It was truly massive in Europe. But it was the type of song I would expect to explode in the US way more. And even after being such a big airplay hit (USA), it still did "okay" for the time.

Thanks to streaming and becoming a classic it ended up 4xPlatinum in the US, which is good for a single from 2007. But it's still surprising to me.

I think it only reached the Top 10 in The Netherlands, and the Top 20 in 2-3 more countries. So I'd say it wasn't a hit except for these few places. It deserved better. I was listening to it last night because it was ballad time and it was better than I remember.

Congrats on that double platinum for Folkore!! Seemed like at the time it did quite « poorly » but ended up quite well.

Now it is certified for 600,000... finally. The album was a monster... it charted for almost an entire year (49 weeks).
