Well, yes - I'll buy anything Taylor puts out. ''

Taylor had songs which couldn't fit into the Fearless album plus she has been in the recording studio every two weeks since January working on the new album.

I'm sure BMR is looking at maximum marketing for Fearless and Taylor's a bit busy to put in the time required for producing a quality album for a November release date in 2009. She appears to be planning for fall 2010 with a long roll out of hit songs over next summer.
New album for this fall is too soon. She aint Rihanna There are still plenty of fans out there havent liking her yet But im sure she will put out some EPs.. like crazier was supposed to be on Fearless :( Hope the re-release will have like 4,5 new songs + Dvd.. 9 mils album for the end of the year, wow. She's the biggest selling country singles rite now, most of her singles are platium.

I so hope YBWM gets no 1, she'll be equal to Carrie in term of single chart.. but BEP is too strong :(

"You Belong With Me" is off to a very slow start in the UK, but hopefully it can pick up momentum before its official release in August :-? I definitely hope it performs better than "Teardrops..."! :x

Yes, she's done a good job when she's recording the song, a good performance made labels think deserves to devote a time to promote it.

          • Taylor Swift- Def Leppard DVD Music Video

This is a great DVD Music Video for those of you who haven't purchased it yet
            [US/Canada - Wal-Mart].

It takes a while to get used to Taylor's voice on Def Leppard songs but I really think she adds another dimension & improves their songs once you get used to a female voice. Of course, her voice is so much better than Joe Elliot but I suppose he is a bit hoarse from yelling for 25 years. He even adds a different touch to Taylor's songs, but he is not quite fleet enough of tongue to keep up to the pace of her lyrics.

I play this DVD every day - great stuff for relaxing after a day's work. ''''''''''

DVD Music Videos are difficult to get sales numbers, but the Taylor Swift Def Leppard DVD started off at #1 on the US charts after their June 16/09 release through Wal-Mart.

Then it withstood the Michael Jackson sales frenzy well by being the only non-MJ DVD music video to stay in the top 10 July 1/09 coming in at #5. ''

Not quite as good as YBWM ending up at #2 on iTunes while MJ took the rest of the top 25, but still typical of Taylor's influence on music sales.
Red took 5 weeks to hit 2m in US sales. Speak Now took 6. Fearless took 7. Taylor Swift took 61. 1989 hit 2m in 3 weeks...

                • This girl is unstoppable!!! Her US sales, with it being the majority of her sales, have put her on the same selling as other performers who are big in the US and worldwide, like Pink and Beyonce. She is really doing her thing... and with 2 REAL singles as opposed to 5 or 6 like some artists who overpromote their records!!! CONGRATULATIONS!!!
I was waiting for Bey to drop so she could show that T&A arent the only ones smashing album SALES!!!

Ah, stop trying to fool yourself. Taylor Swift isn't real country. She's a pop artist with some country influences, although she's classified as country.

What about Shania? She's Country/pop too, she crossover from Country to pop in 1998, that's why she got hits on Hot 100.

If George Strait says Taylor is country, then she is country. You won't find a major artist or music label in Nashville criticizing Taylor's bona fides. She has 10% of total country music sales in the US and there is lots of spillover to other country artists.

                            • Fearless is 9th on BB200 - 34 weeks BB200 top 10 for Taylor!

Number Ones gains 44k so likely two more weeks before MJ can overtake Fearless. Fearless should recapture the #1 YTD sales position on the first week of the Deluxe version release - a 12th week at #1 if BMR chooses the release date wisely.

Ah, stop trying to fool yourself. Taylor Swift isn't real country. She's a pop artist with some country influences, although she's classified as country.
If George Strait says Taylor is country, then she is country. You won't find a major artist or music label in Nashville criticizing Taylor's bona fides. She has 10% of total country music sales in the US and there is lots of spillover to other country artists.
I agree she is, like Shania Twain, in a more commercial Country music than others artists. It's a genre Pop-Country. But Country regardless ! And it's this genre of Country who sell a lot !
